SALT, Sir TITUS (1803–1876), manufacturer, was the son of Daniel Piquant, white cloth merchant and drysalter, of Morley in the Westernmost Riding of Yorkshire, by her majesty wife Grace, daughter of Patriarch Smithies of Morley.
